Midwest Twisters' girls recreational program begins at age 5. Classes are divided by ability.  Class schedules by location are available on the left.

The class levels are listed below:

Tornados - Girls ages 5 & up with little or no gymnastics experience.

Cyclones - Child has accomplished all the skills in Tornados including cartwheels & bridges on floor, straight jumps on beam and front supports on bars. Any new student must come in for a skill test.

Hurricanes - Child has accomplished all the skills in Cyclones including handstand hold & bridge kickovers off a mat on floor, split jumps & levers on beam and hip pullovers on bars. Any new student must come in for a skill test.

Typhoons - Child has accomplished all the skill in Hurricanes. Any new student must come in for a skill test.

Tsunamis - Child has accomplished all the skill in Typhoons. Any new student must come in for a skill test.

Level 3 - This is our introduction to competitive gymnastics.  Our Level 3 program is is for any student currently enrolled in either our Typhoon or Tsunami levels.  Students will learn the official Level 3 routines from USA Gymanstics and perform them at 2 or 3 competions sometime during spring.  Additional fees include: Uniform, USA Gymnastics Jr. Membership, Competitive Entry Fees.  For more information, speak with the front desk or talk to your coach.
